Under PNPs, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and British Columbia issue ITAs.

Over one hundred ITAs were given to Express Entry candidates by each province.British Columbia, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan have made the results of the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw public.

With the exception of Quebec and Nunavut, each province and territory in Canada runs its own PNP. Interested candidates may receive invitations from these programmers to submit an application for a provincial nomination. Provincial nomination can considerably improve a candidate's prospects of getting permanent resident status even though it is not the same as permanent residence.

For instance, candidates for the PNP with Express Entry profiles who are nominated will have their CRS score increase by 600 points. They also become qualified to be invited to submit an application for a round of invites exclusive to the PNP.

The PNP initially only accepted 400 immigrants after it launched in 1998, but thanks to its success, it now accepts more than 80,000 immigrants annually. The surge in PNP admissions in Canada is attributable to the fact that both the federal and provincial governments see it as a useful tool for advancing the nation's economic development.

Every two weeks, Express Entry draws are done. Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has resumed hosting all-program Express Entry lotteries after a lengthy hiatus.

A total of 1,500 Express Entry applicants with a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 557 were given invitations to apply (ITAs) for permanent residence in the first all-program draw since 2020, which took place on July 6. On August 3, 2,000 invites were distributed in the most recent Express Entry draw, which had a minimum CRS of 533.

Results of PNP Draw

1. British Columbia

In the draw that took place on August 10, more than 155 applicants were requested to submit applications for provincial nomination in British Columbia. Every week on Wednesdays, British Columbia has its provincial nomination draw.

This week, the province welcomed the majority of applicants from selected categories, including tech vocations, in regional draws. This form of draw tries to bridge lab our market gaps in particular regions of the province where there is a lack of trained lab our.

For entry-level and semi-skilled workers, the minimum Skills and Immigration Registration System (SIRS) score was 76; for candidates in the Skilled Worker (EEBC) category, it was 114.Similar to the Express Entry Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS), SIRS only applies to the PNP of British Columbia.

Additionally, the province extended invitations to applicants for the following jobs: early childhood educators and assistants (NOC 4214) with a minimum score of 60; and healthcare workers with a minimum score of 60.

- Healthcare aides (NOC 3413) with scores of at least 60 points are entry-level and semi-skilled workers.

- International graduates with scores of at least 60 points who are skilled workers for other selected occupations.

2. Saskatchewan

Through the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program, Saskatchewan invited a total of 745 applicants from the Express Entry and Occupations-In-Demand categories on August 11. (SINP). This maintains the recent pattern in Saskatchewan of staging PNP drawings almost every week. The province held four draws in July, inviting more than 200 applicants each time. Saskatchewan only had drawn every two months up until July.

The province invited 312 applicants from the Occupations-In-Demand category and 433 candidates from the Express Entry category. The minimum Expression of Interest score for both categories was 68, just like the previous draw on July 27. All invited candidates had evaluations of their academic credentials.

3. Manitoba

On August 11, Manitoba held a Provincial Nomination Program draw and sent out 345 invitations. The invites were distributed among three immigration streams: the International Education Stream received 55 invitations with no minimum score requirement, while the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream received 257 invitations with a minimum score of 623.Out of the total number of applicants invited, 86 had profiles in the Express Entry database.
