How to migrate to Canada from India in 2022?

Although there is a great need for qualified employees in Canada, the government imposes strict requirements for candidates in its immigration programs.

This means that many deserving individuals are overlooked because they do not meet all of the government's requirements.

When it comes to picking immigrants who are authorized to live in Canada, the Canadian government faces a difficult task. With Swis Immigration, you can immigrate to Canada in a simple manner.

They offer several different programs, each with its own set of requirements that any applicant interested in settling down there must meet.

Canada Immigration Program

The Canadian government runs over 80 immigration programs that allow people a streamlined process to immigrate to Canada. Even work and live in the country.

You can apply for both permanent and temporary immigration categories in Canada. As a permanent resident of Canada, you have access to the same healthcare programs and most other benefits as Canadian citizens.

There are many ways through which Indians can immigrate to Canada. Below mentioned are the 5 permanent visa categories.

1. Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program
2. Federal skilled worker Visa
3. Provincial Nominee Program
4. Canada Experience Class
5. Quebec Immigration

You can apply for a visa via the Express Entry Method by selecting one of the above programs and following these steps.  The fastest way to enter Canada is through Express Entry.

Step 1:  Evaluate your program eligibility.
Step 2:  Collect all required paperwork
Step 3:  Fill out an Express Entry Profile with correct information.
Step 4:  Fill out the Express Entry Pool application.
Step 5:  Wait for an Invitation to Apply to arrive (ITA)

Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)

The Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) program is the most well-known way to immigrate to Canada. Every year, the country accepts over ten thousand people through this program.

The FSW Canadian immigration program is for skilled foreign workers who wish to work in Canada for an extended period of time. Candidates may apply with their spouses/partners and children under the age of 18.

Qualifications for the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)

A minimum of 67 points out of 100 is required to apply for permanent residence in Canada through the Express Entry procedure.

These points are calculated based on your age, employment experience, education, language skills, adaptability, and other things.

You will not be granted a PR visa if you score 67 points, but you will be eligible to apply for one through the Express Entry system.

You are not guaranteed to get an Invitation to Apply for Permanent Residence if you are accepted into the Express Entry pool. A high CRS Score is required for an invitation.

Then, based on your profile, you must select the appropriate immigration program that could help immigrate to Canada.

Stages for Federal Skilled Worker Program Application Process (FSWP)

Step 1: Examine your educational credentials (ECA)

A candidate must obtain an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) to demonstrate that their overseas education meets Canadian standards.

Step 2: Report on Language Proficiency

The candidate will then require a language proficiency report that includes the IELTS score. This shows if the applicant's English skills are at the Canadian Benchmark Level (CLB) 7 or not.

Step 3: Apply for Express Entry

After obtaining both documents, the individual can build an online Express Entry profile.

Step 4: Calculate the CRS Score

After completing the application form, the candidate is given a score that serves as a cut-off for evaluating applications. You can apply for a Canada PR visa if you have the required CRS score.

Step 5: Draw for Express Entry

The applicant must then wait for the Express Entry draw, which occurs at regular intervals. Candidates who achieve a certain rank are invited to apply for PR.

Step 6: Invitation to Apply (ITA)

If your rank is higher than the minimum, you will be sent an Invitation to Apply (ITA). You have 60 days after getting it to apply for PR.

Step 7: Submitting the Final PR Application

You can now submit your final Canada PR application along with the necessary papers.

Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP)

The Provincial Nominee Programs allow Canadian provinces to propose persons for permanent residency based on the labour market and economic needs of their respective provinces.

The eligibility qualifications for the PNP program are determined by the guidelines established by each province. If you are eligible, you will be nominated and can apply for permanent residence through Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (CICC).

The eligibility requirements differ depending on which provinces you apply to.

People who will significantly contribute to the growth of the economy are a major element that provinces seek.

If you are considering relocating to the province in question, get a job offer. Check your language skills, specifically your English/French work experience, are important.
