How to immigrate to Canada from Kenya?

How to immigrate to Canada from Kenya?

Canada welcomes immigrants from all around the world and has over 100 immigration routes available.  The experience of moving to Canada is thrilling and transformative. Canada is a nation known for its stability and safety on a worldwide scale, as well as its high level of living.

Due to a rising lab our shortage in a number of industries, it is also a nation that is continuously looking to embrace international talent. The elderly population and low birth rate in Canada are major contributors to this.

By the end of 2024, Canada's immigration levels plan hopes to have welcomed approximately 450,000 new permanent residents. It provides more than 100 immigration pathways for people wishing to begin the next stage of their lives in order to accomplish this goal. It is wise to look into some of the most well-known routes if you are thinking about moving from Kenya to Canada.

Express Entry

The most common route for skilled workers to enter Canada is through Express Entry. It is an application management system that evaluates a candidate's qualifications and ranks them against other candidates using three programmers: the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), the Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP), and the Canadian Experience Class (CEC).

Using the Comprehensive Ranking System, candidates are ranked (CRS). An Express Entry candidate will receive a numerical score known as a CRS score after determining whether or not they are qualified for one of the programmers and uploading their profile to the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) website.

This rating is based on attributes including education, language proficiency, work experience, and other elements of human capital like age. A candidate's likelihood of receiving an invitation to apply (ITA) for permanent residency increases with their CRS score.

Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) The Federal Skilled Worker Program is the most well-known route for those who have education and job experience outside of Canada who want to immigrate permanently. It is one of the Express Entry programmers.

It was the first programmer ever to use a points system meant to evaluate candidates objectively, and it served as the model for programmers of a similar nature in other nations.Like all Express Entry programmers, the first step to applying for the FSWP is to determine whether you match the minimal eligibility standards.

- At least one year of experience in a skilled job.
- A minimum score of 7 on the Canadian Language Benchmark test in either English or French - Possession of at least one academic qualification.
- Provide evidence of payment (if applicable).
- Earn at least 67 points on the FSWP scoring grid out of a possible 100.

How to proceed if you are qualified

The next step is to build a profile on the IRCC website if you match the eligibility conditions. You will receive your CRS score and be able to join the pool once your profile has been uploaded.

Since July 6 of this year, IRCC has begun Express Entry drawings. Every two weeks, there are draws where the applicants with the highest CRS scores receive ITAs. Even if you are not invited in one draw, you could still be invited in the subsequent one because the CRS score varies with each draw. All applications must be processed within six months according to IRCC standards.
